The Monty Maxwell Scholarship

Fueling Discipline, Drive, and the Pursuit of Excellence

The Monty Maxwell Scholarship, established by Stronger Than Stroke, will launch with the Class of 2026 in the Natomas Unified School District.

It will be awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who embodies the values of discipline, commitment, and personal growth through athletics and education.

This scholarship honors the legacy of Monty Maxwell, a father, leader, and community trailblazer, by supporting students who demonstrate the same dedication to their craft, their character, and their future.

Applications open March 1, 2026.

Scholarship Award

The Monty Maxwell Scholarship will launch with the Class of 2026. Scholarship awards are supported through a combination of Legacy Walk proceeds and designated community donations and sponsorships.
